A child needs more than shelter. Security, education, health, psychosocial support and belonging should be considered together. The CES Bursa Children’s Homes proposal aims to bring these needs together within a people-centred social-impact model.
A model to develop together
The proposal considers homes supporting children’s everyday lives alongside learning areas, shared spaces and specialist support. Bursa is the starting focus. The aim is to work with relevant experts in Türkiye and learn from international experience to develop an approach suited to local needs.
WiMaSa is used to organise the idea, define research questions and develop project documents. Child-protection decisions and responsibility for services belong to the relevant authorities and qualified specialists.
Safety, privacy and dignity first
Children’s identities and sensitive information are not shared through public content. In calls for support, we focus on children’s rights and development rather than identifying them or portraying them solely through need.
Current status: project proposal. A published website does not mean an operating campus, child-admission service or official partnership. Funding and institutional implementation will be explained through the relevant documentation.
An invitation to contribute expertise
Perspectives from child protection, education, psychosocial support, architecture and social-project management can help develop the model. This page contains neither a child-placement application nor a donation-payment call.
